Ted Kennedy

I don't think either of us knew a lot about Ted Kennedy, unfortunately we are too young to know about much of what he did. I would just like to say the country lost a great man last night and he and his family are in our hearts tonight. May he rest in peace.

Our first Yarnstorm

August 30th will be a monumental day to remember. For it is on this pinnacle of day that we, the Sundial Stitchers, will expose our first yarnstorm to Redding. That is to say, at some point on that tantamount Sunday we will stitch our knitting to some top-secret site in the city. Unbeknownst to citizens of the town, the city will begin its transformation into a work of art. We cannot at this time disclose the secret spot of our first escapade into the abyss of knitting craft, lest the information fall into the wrong hands and we be brutally arrested and sent to rot in jail. However, as soon as the deed is done, it will all over the news, and if it's not, the location will be revealed on our blog. Sit on the edge of your seats, readers, for this is an event of a lifetime.

Our first blog post!

Welcome to the annex of the Sundial Stitchers. Our goal: the beautification of our town through the power and beauty of the art of knitting. We have taken upon ourselves the ambition of knitting creative cozies and various decor in order to enhance our town. We will be "yarnstorming" in secret, hidden away from security cameras and watchful paparazzi. We hope to avoid jail; this is a risky business, but we are willing to make drastic sacrifices for the success of this project.
We call on you, fellow knitters and artisans, to follow our journey, and to join us, by expanding this project into your own towns. Share your adventurous and daring stories of how you made a difference in the world with a pair of needles and a ball of yarn. - Pearl Ladder.
